FAQ
Common questions about our copper bottles.
Care & Maintenance
To clean your copper bottle naturally, use a mixture of lemon juice and salt or vinegar and salt. Rub the mixture on the inside and outside, rinse thoroughly with water, and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive scrubbers or harsh detergents as they can damage the copper finish.
Yes, it is natural for copper to tarnish or darken over time due to oxidation. This is a sign of purity. You can easily restore its shine using the lemon and salt cleaning method mentioned above.
We recommend using your copper bottle for room temperature or cold water only. Copper is a conductive metal, so hot liquids will make the bottle very hot to touch and may alter the properties of the copper.
Health Benefits
According to Ayurveda, drinking water stored in a copper vessel (Tamra Jal) can help balance the three doshas (Vata, Kapha, and Pitta). It is believed to aid digestion, boost the immune system, and have anti-inflammatory properties.
For maximum benefits, store water in the copper bottle for 6-8 hours, preferably overnight. Drink it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
